This web-site is operated by Derventio Design Limited. Our terms and conditions apply to all online sales from our website to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions. Please make sure you read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering, you may wish to print a copy. Other terms and conditions on our site (such as, but not limited to, our privacy policy) should also be read as part of this agreement as they form part of these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time without notice to you, changes will be posted on the site. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received.
Making A Purchase
Ordering Online
Making a purchase is straightforward, just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy, and put them in your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to satisfy the order. When you reach the confirmation stage, you will see all the details of your order. We shall send you an acknowledgement email, giving details of the products you have ordered, it is a good idea to print this out for your own records. If you are ordering on behalf of a company or other corporate entity, you confirm you are doing so with its full authority on placing an order.
Payment - UK Customers
We accept payment by Paypal, VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Switch Card, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Solo or ECheck for UK customers. We use Paypal (Europe) Ltd Merchant Services, they are regulated in the UK by the Financial Service Authority. If you prefer to pay off-line, please select your items on-line, complete acceptance of terms and conditions, print off the final invoice and send this copy with your payment.
UK customers can also pay by postal order. Please make postal orders payable to Derventio Design Ltd.

Payment - International Customers
We accept payment by Paypal, VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Switch, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Solo or ECheck for all international orders. Please note we do not accept any other methods of payment for international orders from outside the UK. We use Paypal (Europe) Ltd Merchant Services, they are regulated in the UK by the Financial Service Authority. Please be aware that any import duties and taxes will be payable by you, the customer, on arrival in your country of destination. All products purchased are shown in £ (pounds sterling) and, will be converted into your local currency by your card provider, at the exchange rate used by them.
Shipping And Handling
Delivery - UK Customers
All deliveries within the UK (mainland only) are
free
of charge and all purchases will be despatched by either Royal Mail Special Delivery or First Class Recorded at the discretion of Derventio Design Ltd.
Delivery - International Customers
Deliveries outside the UK will be despatched using Royal Mail International Signed For. There is one standard fee for Europe, and one standard fee for Worldwide, regardless of how much you order.
We try to deliver goods when stated, but some circumstances may be out of our control, and we cannot guarantee delivery by such a date. Subject to being in stock, we aim to deliver within 14 days, Derventio's own range of handcrafted jewellery is made to order, and will therefore take longer. Please allow 4-6 weeks for handmade jewellery and tiara's. If for any reason it is going to take longer than this we will email you. If goods have to be returned to us by Royal Mail as they have been unable to deliver to your nominated address, we reserve the right to charge for additional postal costs when re-delivering. Please ensure you supply us with a valid address.
Risk of loss of and damage to of products, passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or the date of first attempted delivery by us. We reserve the right to change delivery terms at any time, without notice, by posting on the web-site.

Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach the computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.

Any formal legal notices should be sent to us at the address at the end of these terms and conditions, by email and confirmed by first class post. Failure by us to enforce a right does not result in waiver of such a right. You may not assign or transfer your rights under this agreement. Derventio may however assign, transfer or sub-contract all or any part of this agreement or its obligations to a third party, as it deems appropriate. We may amend these terms and conditions at any time by posting a variation on the site. Derventio Design Ltd is committed to protecting the privacy of those using our site. We comply with the 1998 Data Protection Act. Derventio Design will never sell personal information, or share personal information with third parties unrelated to it, unless we are forced to do so by a court of law. We will only use information for the purposes of administration, to monitor security, or to establish information for marketing purposes, such as the most popular products.

Returns Policy
Refund Policy, Returns & Cancellations
Goods are sold subject to availability, and if we cannot supply them we will endeavour to inform you. You will be given a full refund for the cost of the product. The goods are sold at the price on our web site at the date we receive the order from you. If we find a pricing error on our web site, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the opportunity, if you wish, of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling it. If you cancel and you have paid for the goods, you will be given a full refund. The EU distance selling directive 97/7, now part of English law, gives you the right as a consumer to cancel the contract between us, regardless of whether or not there is anything wrong with the goods, seven working days from the day after the goods are delivered. This statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods which are made to a customers specifications, this applies to Derventio's handcrafted jewellery, which is made to order. Refunds will not be given for the cost of posting the goods to you, or your returning the goods to us. Unfortunately, due to health and hygiene regulations, no refunds can be given for pierced jewellery, this includes earrings and pierced body jewellery. This does not affect your statutory rights. All goods returned should be unworn, and returned in the condition in which they were sent out. All goods should be in the original gift box, which should also be returned in the same condition to which it was sent out. No refund will be given if goods are not returned in their original condition. Please notify us by email if you need to return goods, or if goods are faulty, quoting the reference on your invoice and we will issue you with a returns number, please include this in your returned parcel. Refunds are given for the cost of the product, not for any postage costs. Any items not returned under the correct procedure, will not be accepted and will remain the responsibility of the purchaser. It is your responsibility to ensure that any returns are well packaged at your cost, and sent either special delivery for UK or International Signed For, for international orders.
Returns Policy - Lingerie
We guarantee to exchange or refund the goods that you have ordered (excluding costumes and sets with stockings), if returned to us within 7 days of you receiving your order. In the unlikely event goods are faulty we will exchange or refund the goods. All goods must be returned unworn, unwashed, with labels intact and in the original packaging. Ensure that briefs and thongs are only tried on over your own underwear. We reserve the right to refuse any returns where it appears that these conditions have not been met. Sorry, but we cannot refund or pay for postal/shipping costs. All goods returned must be sent back by Royal Mail Special Delivery or International Signed For, and a receipt obtained.
Damaged or Faulty Goods
Please open your parcel and check the goods as soon as you receive them. If you find they have been damaged in the post, or in the unlikely event you find a significant manufacturing defect, please email us or otherwise advise us in writing within seven days, giving a description of the damage or defect. Please return all goods, including presentation box's, in the condition that they were received. Upon receipt of your email, we will issue a returns number, please include this in your parcel. Upon receipt of the returned goods, we will order a replacement, if a replacement is not available, we will endeavour to notify you, and issue you with a full refund. Please also read our returns policy above. All our jewellery goods come with a 12 months from delivery guarantee against manufacturing defects and will correspond with their description at the time of delivery. We will repair or replace, at our option, any goods that are defective provided that the goods have only been subjected to normal use (taking into account the delicate nature of many of our products). We shall not be liable in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal conditions, failure to follow our instructions or the misuse, alteration or repair of the goods without our approval. We shall also be under no liability to you if you have not paid the price in full and our guarantee shall be limited in respect of parts or goods manufactured by other parties for which you shall only be entitled to such warranty or guarantee as the manufacturer gives to us, Derventio. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
Complaints
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, and the service we offer. If for any reason this is not the case, please inform us in writing, by post, please also email us. We shall deal with your complaint and aim to reply within seven days of receiving the posted copy.
